Educators of Distinction

 

About

An Educator of Distinction is a Mt. 黑料导航 professor, staff member, or manager who is nominated by a Mt. 黑料导航
student to be recognized for outstanding contributions to the student experience at Mt. 黑料导航.

Selection Process

Employees* can be nominated via the online nomination form that will be open to all Mt. 黑料导航 students during the Spring semester. Candidate information will be compiled and the Educators of Distinction Committee will review all nominations and rate each educator according to a predetermined criteria.  Based on scoring, the Educators of Distinction Committee will select approximately five (5) Educators of Distinction Recipients. 

The selected educators will be honored at a formal ceremony in the Spring semester and will receive a plaque, and lapel pin in recognition of their achievement. 

The awards are sponsored by the Associated Students.

*Employees may not nominate themselves.

Criteria

Students should nominate a Mt. 黑料导航 employee who they feel:

1. Made a positive impact on their education
2. Has provided a beneficial influence in their life
3. Has motivated them to realize their goals
4. Selected recipients may receive this award every five (5) years through the nomination process
