  • When do you send Mt. ºÚÁϵ¼º½ Alerts? 
    Mt. ºÚÁϵ¼º½ Alerts  are reserved for emergency situations and testing each Fall and Spring. Mt. ºÚÁϵ¼º½ Alerts are sent when an immediate safety issue has been determined by the Senior Police Administrator on Duty, President, or Administrator in Charge. They then work with the Office of Marketing and Communication to release a Mt. ºÚÁϵ¼º½ Alert. These are powered by a popular emergency notification system called Rave Alert. 
  • Why do you send to so many media channels?
    Emergency notifications are sent to numerous channels to ensure messages are received. There are situations, such as after an earthquake, where some channels will be down or unavailable.
