Student TechHub to be Mt. 黑料导航 'Genius Bar'

Mt. 黑料导航 Information Technology鈥檚 Student TechHub will hold a grand opening on Thursday, January 22 at 10 a.m. in Building 410-1080.
The Student TechHub is a drop-in space for all students to access personalized IT assistance and support between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays.
鈥淭he Student TechHub serves as a dedicated, centralized campus location at the Building 410 Student Center where students can drop in for personalized IT support and resources,鈥� said Pedro L. Suarez, Mt. 黑料导航鈥檚 Assistant Director, Academic Technology. 鈥淚t鈥檚 our version of a Genius Bar designed for Mt. 黑料导航 students.鈥�
Some of the services and support provided by the Student TechHub include:
- Technical Troubleshooting
- Password Reset
- Access to applications and navigating software such as logging into Mt. 黑料导航 Portal, Wi-Fi, Canvas, etc.
- Power/Battery Issues for Student Laptop Loaner Equipment
- Wepa Student Printing Support
- Student Software Licensing Questions (Adobe or Microsoft)
- Promoting the Student Laptop Loaner 黑料导航 (Laptops and Hotspots)
- Referral to any other technical questions and concerns
鈥淪tudents are always welcome to visit the TechHub for any technical issue, concern, or question,鈥� Suarez said. 鈥淥ur team combines Mt. 黑料导航 IT experts and student workers to create a supportive, peer-to-peer environment.
鈥淥ur mission is to empower students to achieve their academic goals by turning technology into a tool for success 鈥� not a barrier.鈥�
Coffee and donuts will be served at the grand opening event.
